Holiday Electric Light Parade Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer for the 2022 Holiday Electric Light Parade! The parade theme this year is "SHINE BRIGHT".
PARADE FACTS:
Date: Saturday November 26th
Time: Santa Run starts at 4:30 - Parade at 5:30 pm
Route: Washington Blvd starting at 22nd street and ending on 27th Street
Staging for floats is on Washington Blvd. between 20th and 22nd Streets
Disbanding for floats is on Washington Blvd. between 27th and 29th Streets
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE LIMITED, REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ONCE ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED
• Each volunteer position serves an important role in keeping our public safe along the parade route.
• Please invite friends and family to join you to volunteer (the more the MERRIER). Please make sure EVERYONE in your party fills out an individual application on-line so we have all their information like contact info, shirt size, etc. (see registration link below)
• Children under 16 cannot volunteer, but can accompany an adult as a “helper” (no shirt provided for “helpers”)
• You will be volunteering to help keep parade spectators on the sidewalk and out of the street or escorting a float to keep pedestrians out of the road and on to the sidewalk, keeping the route clear and safe. 
• If you volunteer, please commit to showing up at 3:00 pm and plan on staying until 7:00 pm. Volunteers need to be able to stand for long periods of time, walk multiple city blocks, and be able to walk/stand in cold weather conditions.
• Volunteers will check-in at 3:00pm at the Ogden Amphitheater 343 Historic 25th Street, reflective vest and a flag will be provided.
• You will take your post on the street or with a float between 3:30 and 4:00 – The Santa Run Starts at 4:30 – Parade starts at 5:30 sharp!
